Our Mission

To provide inclusive, insightful and well-researched travel coverage that’s inspirational, entertaining and useful to those represented by all the letters in LGBTQ2S+, and to demonstrate that travel can be a positive force for LGBTQ2S+ communities.

Our Promises

We will seek out destinations and experiences on behalf of everyone across the sexual orientation and gender identity spectrum. No matter how straight or gay-male-oriented a destination we end up in, we will look for relevant experiences for a variety of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and Two-Spirit readers.

We’ll be accurate and up to date with our coverage, and deliver it with a smile and more than a dollop of sass.

We’ll watch out for your safety as an LGBTQ2S+ person and as a traveller who might be far from home. We’ll make you aware of laws, policies and social attitudes that may affect your travels, and we’ll steer you away from places that fail to respect our communities.

We’ll respect and cherish the LGBTQ2S+ communities we visit, and follow their lead in how we celebrate the place where they live and love, and how we’ll respond to any homophobia and transphobia we might find on our journeys.

We’ll pick our battles, expecting more from corporations and established players in the travel and hospitality industry while nurturing emerging destinations and players that seem eager to grow and learn.

We’ll keep a sharp eye for greener, eco-friendly ways to travel and show our soft spot for destinations and experiences that seriously take climate change and the environment into account.

We’ll be transparent about any complimentary travel we might receive to do our job. We’ll always tell the stories we think readers, not destinations or advertisers, want to hear, and we’ll never let anyone we cover review our content before you, our readers, see it. We’ll stand behind whatever we say.

We’re open to your ideas and experiences. If you want to share something about a place you’ve visited, please tell us. If there are people, places, trends and advice you’re looking to see, please tell us. We’re here to queer your journey.
